We Care Ministries S.A.I.L.s Into Basic Principles of Investing
Learning to be good stewards of finances is a priority for church leaders and members of We Care Ministries in Ringgold. The congregation has been taking part in a series of lessons, Saving And Investing for Life, S.A.I.L., taught by LSU AgCenter Financial Resource Management Agent, Diane Uzzle.

- Balancing pre-retirement and post-retirement investments
- Managing risks
- Asset allocation and diversification
- Changing investments over time
- Managing costs
- Active vs. passive investing

Remember that taking an active role in investments takes time and know-how, but even if you plan to leave investment decision to a professional, it’s still important to make sure you have researched the history and experience of the professional you select.
